Laura,
Hello = so sorry for my slow response! We were only on GAPS for a few months, and took about a month to transition off of it for myself. I extended that time by a few weeks for the baby, since I wanted to be extra careful with him!! I did the castor oil with plastic wrap every night and took it off in the morning - that really made a big difference to help complete his healing. I hope all the best for you and your family, and feel free to ask any more questions! My email is arbreadrie (a) yahoo.com
Blessings,
Adrie

Hi! I've been following your blog since I discovered it through the Get Real series. I've really been enjoying it! I have a question for you about this post. I was so excited to see that you healed your little one's food intolerances through GAPS! My family has been on GAPS for almost fifteen months now. My children all had varying degrees of problems with dairy and grains. I too had problems with most grains and corn. I am curious, how long did you stay on GAPS with your child? Did you do anything else in conjunction? And how did you know it was time to transition off of GAPS? Oh, and the castor oil with plastic wrap - did you leave it on over night, or was it something you did for just a bit every night? So sorry for all the questions - just so excited to hear of someone else doing this diet and to hear that it worked for you! I'd so love to be on a normal healthy diet again!
Thanks!

Holly,
It's in the second Sew Liberated book (the pattern I'm using, I'm sure there are others!). And I'm so not finished. Oh well. Other catastrophes have intervened. Love to you - hope to see you soon!
Blessings,
Adrie
