Gratitude Friday – April 8

This is taken from far away, but can you see Ella riding on Ben’s back here, while he drives Cole? Ella, Seth, Cole, and Ben had a little adventure while Mama was baking yesterday afternoon!

It all looks wonderful, lots to celebrate and be grateful for. Have a great weekend.
Hi Adrie, Here is a link to a video you might like. It is about outdoor preschool in Norway. Sorry about the commercial that comes first…hang in there, it is worth it.
I am having a stay put weekend. I am not leaving my place. I am where I want to be.

Love the picture with Ben, Ella and Cole. What type of wheat are you growing in your trials?

Annie, Thank you for the link – I’ve read about these preschools, and wish we had them here! Hope you had a lovely weekend.
Cathy,
Oh my – there’s too many to list I’m afraid! These are all winter wheats from around the world, obtained through the small grains collection in Ohio (you can get a few grams of seed for free). These are all varieties that are no longer available in large quantities for commercial growing, but are saved by the seed bank. We’re growing them out each year until we have enough to plant an acre or two, and then we get to taste them, too! Thanks for stopping by!
