Adrie - I just started reading a few months ago, and I must have missed your '10 Steps' along the way. They are beautiful steps indeed, and dead on with the way I am trying to live. The biggest struggle for me is conserving energy on my commute. It is not feasible to take public transportation to my job, and I feel a guilty weight of the hour round trip that I make every day. However, I read this post, and I am feeling inspired, and looked on Google to see what that would add up to in bicycle time. I'm not in the greatest shape, don't have the greatest bicycle, and it's an hour trip. I'm sure that I would have to take many little steps to travel by bike, but it's something to think about! Thanks for helping me reflect this morning.

Jeanine - Indeed, we highly recommend viewing Chris Martenson's Crash Course, for a better understanding of our current economic situation, and how we should all be preparing for the future. Thanks for sharing these links.
